Brande Roderick
The hot model and actress Brande Nicole Roderick is brought to fame for her role on the hit TV series Baywatch, and also known for guest starring on a number of other shows as well as appearing in a handful of erotic films and appearing multiple times on Hugh Hefner’s magazine, Playboy.
Roderick was born in Novato, California, on June 13, 1974, and after attending Santa Rosa Junior College, she got started with acting in several soft-core films in the late 1990s, such as Sheer Passion, Club Wild Side 2, Life of a Gigolo, Beach Movie, and Stripper Wives.
Also around this time, she guest starred on Beverly Hills, 90210, which starred Luke Perry, Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty, Brian Austin Green, Tori Spelling, and Ian Ziering; Jesse, starring Christina Applegate; and the sitcom Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place, which starred Ryan Reynolds, Richard Ruccolo, Traylor Howard, Nathan Fillion, and Suzanne Cryer.
However, those who weren’t into soft-core pornography didn’t really know who Roderick was until 2000 when she landed a recurring role as the hottie lifeguard Leigh Dyer on Baywatch, which starred actors such as David Hasselhoff, Erika Eleniak, and Pamela Anderson.
The year 2000 was big for her, because Roderick also snagged the title of Playmate of the Month for the April 2000 edition of Playboy. She ended up as one of Hugh Hefner’s “girlfriends” and the following year, was bestowed with the honor or Playmate of the Year.
Roderick took the lead female role as Sally, the American wife of an Indian, in the Bollywood flick Out of Control in 2003, beating Pamela Anderson for the part.
More recently, Roderick appeared in the 2004 remake of Starsky & Hutch, starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, and also featuring Snopp Dogg, Vince Vaughn, Juliette Lewis, Jason Bateman, and Carmen Electra; in an episode of the short-lived Friends’ spin-off Joey, starring Matt LeBlanc, as well as Paulo Costanzo, Drea de Matteo, Andrea Anders, and Jennifer Coolidge; and in Snopp Dogg’s comedic horror Hood of Horror in 2006.
The actress will be appearing in the film take of The Nanny Diaries, a romantic comedy-drama slated for release later this year, which stars Scarlett Johansson, Laura Linney, Paul Giamatti, Chris Evans, Donna Murphy, and Alicia Keys.
Roderick, although technically single, will soon be married as she is engaged to former NFL linebacker Glenn Cadrez.
